We can make a difference. 

I have yet to meet another burn survivor that would want this to happen to their loved ones or anyone else. Period.

I need volunteers to help me with all of the important issues that pertain to fire safety. We as survivors have a very powerful voice and it is up to us to exercise this voice.  

We can make a difference, for instance, to improve the fire safety of consumer products that manufacturers produce and sell. If they are a fire threat to the safety of anyone, we need to voice our concerns to our Representatives, to the CEOs of these companies, and to anyone that can make them safer. Believe me they will listen to us. We have already been to the burn wards and we don’t want to see our loved ones or ourselves re-live this tragedy. We are the ones that can and should make the difference. After all, we know how fast a burn can happen. When we get involved in something that we so strongly believe in, it changes us, it strengthens us, and it defines us.
 

I fought very hard to stay in this world and I don’t want
to leave it without making a difference.
